Why I’m Doing This

After many years of being interested in diet & fitness and following a conventional approach, my well-being left a lot to be desired. My energy levels and concentration were low and my anxiety high. It wasn’t until I suspected I was intolerant to wheat that I took steps to cut out grains and confirmed the intolerance with a blood test.

After researching grain-free diets I read briefly about zero carb also in the same category as Carnivore/Keto/Atkins/Paleo. Through seeing so many positive personal accounts of people improving their mental health I decided to try it for myself!

Within two weeks of adopting zero carb, I noticed a remarkable improvement in my sleep and energy levels, as well as a sharp increase in my mental clarity and focus. Many improvements came in the months following, whilst experimenting with fruit, honey, and vegetables. 6 months in I noticed that my chronic anxiety, which had been a long-standing issue for me, had completely subsided. This newfound sense of calm was something I had never experienced before, and this quickly radiated into other aspects of my life including my fitness and sociability.

I’ve been following this diet for over a year now, and I’m still surprised by the benefits I see. I’ve experienced increased creativity and motivation, fantastic recovery from training, and more energy than I’ve ever had before. I’ve tested different variations of food and timings to find what works best for me, and I’m happy to share what I’ve learnt with you.

My goal is to help guide anyone who is sufficiently motivated through the process of ketosis so they can achieve as many of the potential benefits as possible.

I also offer guidance on fasting, posture, and mobility. I have a diploma in personal training and sports massage therapy, which allows me to provide a holistic approach to your health and wellness goals.

Can I afford to eat a meat only diet?

This Diet can be a lot more affordable than most think, this is, in large part, due to needing a lot less food when getting your energy from fats, whilst still benefiting from satiety.

How long before I see the benefits?

This can vary from person to person although most will see noticeable changes within 2-4 weeks on average. Starting often with a relief of ‘brain fog’.

Can I still have vegetables in my diet?

Yes.

How about dessert?

Typically, by 1 month in you will gain a much more sound connection with your stomach and you may find that you can have a lot of variety whilst still realising the benefits of the diet.
